The lights on the monitor

The LED strip on the monitor changes color while registering food waste. In this article we explain what the colors mean and what to do if the LED strip doesn't work.

Meaning of the colours:

  • Green: The monitor is ready to take a picture.
  • Orange: You are holding the food too close to the camera! Present the food at the height of the LED strip.
  • Blue: The monitor is processing the photo and weight, do not hold anything in front of the camera.

What to do if:

  • The LED strip remains blue for more than a minute:
    • Check whether something or someone is leaning against the scale or bin, causing the weight to fluctuate.
  • The LED strip remains blue for more than a minute and is no longer responding
    • Restart the device. You can restart by removing the plug from the socket. (If this happens twice or more, please contact your Orbisk Customer Success manager)

If you are unsure whether the monitor is working properly, restart the monitor and then contact your customer success manager. The best way to do this is by sending a WhatsApp message to +31 30 227 06 51 with a picture of the monitor. You can also email Support@orbisk.com
