What happens if I have not registered for a day?

When you are not using the monitor for a day or a few days, it has consequences for your data. In this article we explain what this means.

The dashboard provides insight into your food waste flows per day, per week and per month. Of course, it happens that the location does not use the monitor for a day due to a bank holiday or vacations. In the scenarios below, it is important that the monitor is used when the location is open:

1. Monitor is not used in first 4 weeks

During the first 4 weeks we measure the baseline for your location. The baseline measurement is the average food waste per week, measured from at least 5 active days. If you do not use the monitor for a few days during these weeks, the measurement will continue until 4 weeks have been measured.

EXAMPLE: You started on June 1st, then the baseline measurement will continue until June 29th. If you are closed for 4 days during that period, the measurement will continue until July 3rd.

2. Monitor is not used after the first 4 weeks

If you do not use the monitor due to bank holidays or days off, you will not see any data in the dashboard on that day. Furthermore, it has no consequences for the functionalities in your dashboard.

PLEASE NOTE: Do you expect to have no data for a few days outside the holiday period? Please let us know by emailing Support@orbisk.com.
